Monday Made It

Linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for my very first Monday Made It!

It started with this....

and this...

and you get...

which eventually turns into this:

Another little craft-ivity was glitter clothespins. Who doesn't need those?  First I crafted up about 30 of them.

Then I had some extra glitter and mod podge, so I decided I should glitter up a martini glass. Hey, why not? It's summer time!

I plan on using them to display my "no name" papers in the classroom. The clothespin, that is. I plan to use the martini glass for lots of martinis. :)

  1. Your box turned out super cute! I am super tempted to make one. If I do I was wanting to spray paint it, so I am glad to see yours turned out.

    1. It was super easy, actually. Just make sure you get a spraypaint that sticks to plastic and you will be all set! I love spray painting. I seriously enjoy it- I must have been a graffiti artist in a past life. :)

  8. Love it! So cute! Definitely get the spray paint that adheres to plastic. I paid extra and bought a high gloss colored spray paint and a primer. I had to put 2 coats of primer on before I could even put the color on! I love my toolbox and can't wait to use it this year!

  11. LOVE the idea of spray painting the teachers toolbox! I may need to do that with mine. I am ADDICTED to spray paint. I love to find old treasures at yard sales and spray paint them. My husband doesn't love it so much, but he puts up with it. Hee-hee.

  15. The box is so pretty! I got some spray paint for a filing cabinet, which I'm nervous about, but now that I've seen your craft I'm feeling bolder. It'll be worth it! Hopefully...

  17. Ok. I love your blog. I swear I never heard of it till I found a link on Farley's Currently for Write in the Middle, then found a link for "middle school bloggers" I say that in all honesty as my new blog's name is Lessons with Coffee. I was exploring around and found SO MANY great ideas that I love. I am making my teacher tool kit this week and will be sure to post. There are so many linky parties that I had no idea about!!!! It is almost too much to handle!

Hope you have a great day!

  19. Love how your toolbox turned out! Love... love the owls :) Is the box from from Lowes?

    1. Actually it's from Home Depot. They may sell the same one at Lowe's, though? Sometimes they have the same stuff. Our local Lowe's closed down though, and now Denzel Washington is filming a movie there. Strange but true story!

I would love a set! I really enjoy your blog. Please come check out mine. I have just started up a new blog!
