It's not *quite* July, but close enough. Where has the time gone? I can't believe we are already halfway through 2013. Linking up with Farley from

Short post tonight, but it's time to hang out with my hubby. :)
Laying in the sun with a good book sounds amazing right now! That is totally on my to-do list tomorrow! Hope the rain goes away!

I wish it would- it's been off and on for days! Ick. Hopefully, it clears this week. Hope your weather is better!
DeleteI say the house cleaning can wait...enjoy the sun and a great book!
ReplyDeleteLizzy from *The Teacher Chick*
I like the way you think. :) I hope you are enjoying the sun, too!
DeleteIt's raining like crazy here as well!!!! I'm ready for some sunshine reading as well! I just downloaded a ton of new books for my Nook and I can't wait to start them!

I'm totally obsessed with my nook. I can't even handle it... I spend WAAAY too much money on books! :)
DeleteHi Mandy! I found you through Farley's and just read your bio. I live in New York now but I lived in Greenfield, Mass for the first half of my life :) I have a lot of family in the Boston area (Arlington, N. Reading, Haverhill) and we all vacation in Maine each summer. I love following bloggers with geographic connections to me!

Too funny! We are definitely geographically connected. I have tons of friends in NY too, from my sorority- are you in the city or upstate? I'm heading over to check out your blog now! Nice to "meet" you. :)
DeleteI also love coffee! I can't start the day without a little caffeine! I am a reading in the sun fan, too! I agree with the desire to do that, but too much rain in my hometown! I found your blog through Farley! I will be checking out some of your posts ( why not - its another gloomy day here in NY)
ReplyDeleteToo much rain is definitely a bummer. :( We haven't gotten a break here, lately. Yuck! I'm going to take advantage of being stuck inside and head over to check out your blog now, too. :)
DeleteHello fellow MA teacher. This weather STINKS! We need the sunshine!!!!!!! This weather just makes me want to curl up on the couch with my laptop and read blogs. But, I can't...My little one won't let me! lol
ReplyDeleteWhat's Working This Year?
Seriously! It was nice for a few hours yesterday, but that was short lived. I have to admit I'm living the cool breeze this evening, though!
DeleteI feel the same way about summer vacation AND house cleaning! Vacation is flying by and there's too much to do around the house that isn't getting done! All I wanna do is lay out and read too! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your blog, and love your advice!
