The concept is simple- every day name something that you are thankful for that begins with the letter of the day. Today is "t."
T is for Traditions.
I am thankful for traditions. I believe that tradition is what links each generation of a family to another. There is something so special about sitting down to a family meal and following the same traditions and rituals that so many generations before me did. I can't wait to pass the traditions on to my son, and teach him the importance of passing them on to his children. Although it's small, my favorite tradition is opening one gift with my family on Christmas eve. It's small, but so significant.
So head over to Blog Hoppin' and tell everyone what you are thankful for!
What a fun tradition!

I can't wait to pass it on to my little guy!! :)
DeleteMy favorite family tradition is also our Christmas one. We incorporate some Chinese traditions with an American twist. I also hope that it never ends and it continues to be passed on for generations to come!

I love that! Tradition is really so important. I am a really sentimental person, so it gets me. :)
DeleteWe open one gift on Christmas Eve, too... and sometimes I think there is more anticipation by the kids for that gift than all the rest the next morning! It's sort of a little cheat :) Thanks for the post. See you around! Kathleen Kidpeople Classroom
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I love doing it. I can't wait for my little one to start with the tradition, too.
